Deterministic calculations
Your plan. Your limits.
01 — The approach
A position is more than a price target.
Leverage, position size and the distance to your stop all shape the downside. A direction can be right and a position can still be liquidated before the target.
Liquidation Radar gives those details a place in the decision. Read the estimates, compare the plan with your own limits, and practice before putting real money at risk.
Read: why was I liquidated?02 — How it works
Understand. Rehearse. Review.
One connected workflow for understanding risk before entry and reviewing your own behavior after.
The calculator and guided demo are public. Access to the full paper-trading workspace is controlled.
Turn a setup into something you can examine.
Enter a hypothetical position. The calculator returns an estimated liquidation level, the distance to it and the downside at your stop, with the assumptions shown beside the result.
Practice the decision. Observe what follows.
Set your own risk limits and write down the plan. Compare a planned paper position with your saved risk limits before opening it. The comparison is advisory. Then follow the estimated liquidation distance and your practice exposure as prices change.
- Set your risk limits
- Record the plan
- Open a paper position
- Observe the outcome
The outcome is one part. Your decisions are another.
Closed simulated trades become a journal you can revisit. Where an opening plan exists, the discipline review compares it with what you actually did and shows where behavior drifted.
03 — A deliberate boundary
Real decisions. Practice money.
A place to understand the mechanics and examine your habits. Every position is simulated, and every estimate comes with limits.
Paper only, by design
No real orders, custody, deposits, withdrawals or exchange connections. Practice currency only.
Explanation, not prediction
The calculations are deterministic arithmetic with stated assumptions. No trading signals, price calls, buy or sell recommendations, trader rankings or profit promises.
Honest about the limits
Liquidation figures are estimates. Exchange rules, fees, funding and slippage differ. Paper results do not predict real outcomes or reproduce the psychology of real-money loss.
Your plan, your limits
The product checks a planned position against limits you set. It never tells you what to trade.
04 — Good questions
Know what you are using.
Clarity is part of the product.
What can I try without an account?
The free Risk Calculator and the guided demo are available without an account. The full paper-trading workspace has controlled access.
Does Liquidation Radar trade with real money?
No. It uses practice currency and simulated positions. It does not place real exchange orders, hold funds, accept deposits or withdrawals, or connect to your exchange account.
Are the liquidation estimates exact?
No. They depend on your inputs and the model's assumptions. Exchange rules, fees, funding, slippage and market conditions change real outcomes. Read the assumptions shown with each result.
Will it tell me what to buy or sell?
No. Liquidation Radar is an educational simulation and risk-rehearsal tool. It does not provide financial advice, trading signals, market predictions or recommendations about traders to copy.
